Even in antiquity terracotta was used for creating objects and handmade articles for use in the house or garden. The clay from Impruneta has always been a synonym for the quality and durability and this is still true today. The clay is still processed in the traditional way: it is fired at high temperatures and this leads to a high degree of frost-resistance. Today we use this clay to produce goods which even gain in value and fascination as time goes by. The irregular forms and ornaments are never quite identical and are as such a sign of the exquisite handicraft. This also explains the slight variation in size and weight of he objects enhancing the uniqueness of each single item. The variety of the articles we offer as well as the beautiful colour of the clay allow us to creatively enhance your ambience and to convey the characteristic and relaxing qualities of terracotta.

The pottery Pesci is about 6 kilometres away from the exit "Firenze Certosa" of the "Autostrada del Sole" (A1). Follow the country road "Cassia", pass by the village/locality "Tavarnuzze" and follow the signs to Greve in Chianti until you achieve the locality Falciani (Impruneta).
